The Kissimmee Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects that burglarized a home and stole about $40,000 in jewelry.

On January 17 at about 4:30 p.m., officers responded to Avilla Subdivision in reference to a residential burglary.

Burglary suspect

Entry was made by prying open the back patio glass door and damaging the lock. The victim stated that approximately $40,000 worth of high-end jewelry was stolen from the residence to include multiple watches, necklaces and rings.

Several witnesses came forward and provided information regarding a new model red Dodge Caravan had entered the subdivision and parked across the street from the victim’s house for several minutes. At 2:15 p.m., the victim was notified by the alarm company that an alarm was set off. It is presumed that entry was made at that time, Kissimmee police officials said. The suspects have been described as two light skinned males.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the incident is urged to contact the Kissimmee Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit at 407-846-3333, by email at seeitsayit@kissimmee.org or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards.
