Kissimmee police need public’s help in identifying shooting suspect

Kissimmee police detectives are asking for anyone who may have witnessed a shooting on Tuesday afternoon to come forward.

At approximately 1:56 p.m., a shooting occurred on Columbia Avenue just west of the Dyer Boulevard intersection in Kissimmee.
The driver of a dark colored sedan shot a bicyclist, according to police officials. The suspect vehicle was last seen driving west on Columbia Avenue toward Armstrong Boulevard. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for his wounds.
