A crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County on Saturday killed a North Miami woman and sent another 18 victims to six different hospitals after a tire on a van separated, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

St. Cloud resident Anthony Guglielmini, 21, who was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Ashley Nicole Jung, 16, was found guilty today of a lesser offense of manslaughter with culpable negligence and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Police arrested and charged a 20-year-old Kissimmee man for manslaughter after a gun he was handling inside a vehicle fired and struck a passenger, who later died.

According to Kissimmee police reports, on Monday at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers responded to Osceola Regional Medical Center in response to a shooting victim.

The victim, 25-year-old Henry Antonio Ortiz-Reyes of Kissimmee, was brought to the hospital by his girlfriend, Maria Gonzalez, and her 20-year-old brother, Henry Gonzalez-Galay.

Ortiz-Reyes died as a result of his injuries.

Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested Harold Wright, 47, and charged him with seven counts of domestic sexual battery on a victim under 12 years old.

A Wyoming woman died on Monday after driving her car into an Osceola County retention pond.

According to Florida Highway Patrol reports, Mary Arbour, 64, was driving a 2006 Honda SUV when she stopped on the northbound shoulder of U.S. Highway 192 near Bill Beck Boulevard. Others drivers who thought she was disabled stopped to assist her and noticed she was having a medical problem, FHP reports said.
