A Kissimmee man was taken into custody by Osceola County Sherriff’s deputies early this morning following a standoff that forced the brief evacuation of a West U.S. Highway 192 hotel.

A St. Cloud woman was accused of stealing from a  gravesite after police said she took a number of items from Mt. Peace Cemetery.

Another alleged victim has come forward against Brian Shaw, adding 10 more counts of lewd and lascivious molestation charges on the Kenansville  area man.

A 13-year-old boy reported to Osceola County deputies on May 1 that Shaw also offered to give him a ride on his four-wheeler between Halloween and Thanksgiving of last year. During that ride, Shaw touched the boy inappropriately 10 times according to the report.
