Officials and dignitaries from Valencia College, the University of Central Florida, and several branches of Osceola County government were on hand on April 11 for the dedication of Valencia College’s Building 4 on the Osceola campus.

Valencia-Osceola Campus President Kathleen Plinske welcomed guests, including past and present members of the college’s Board of Trustees, to the event.

Calling it “somewhat disturbing,” Kissimmee Developmental Services officials introduced an ordinance to the City Commission on Tuesday that would ban the public slaughter of animals in a residential area.

The Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court office on Monday, April 1, opened its digital portal allowing attorneys to file civil court cases and related documents electronically, reducing dependence on courier and traditional mail services.
