Harmony's baseball team extended its season with a dramatic 5-4 win over rival Osceola Wednesday at the Mike Fields Complex in the 7A-2 regional semifinals, but the news was not so good for the Lady Longhorn softball team.

Texting while driving bill could put dent in numbers

In 2012, there were 1,681 distracted driver crashes in Osceola County, but the new texting while driving ban, passed by Florida Legislature last week, is projected to put a dent in such numbers.
