Life Academy fell to 0-3 Friday against Orangewood Christian, 54-12.

Leo Nunez rushed for 28 yards and two touchdowns for the Lions.

Andre Waterhouse led the team with 11 tackles.

The Lions travel to Merritt Island Christian Friday at 7 p.m.

Coach Mike Bonneville said his team still must improve its fundamental skills.

“We are not doing the basics correctly in the game: Blocking, tackling, holding onto the ball,” Bonneville said.

Bonneville coached against his former Dr. Phillips High School coach, Bill Gierke.

The City of Life Lions , 0-3, lost their six-man football game against Hillsborough Baptist, 40-6.

The team hosts FISH Academy Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Austin-Tindall Regional Park
