Celebration, 0-2, will play at Lake Minneola, a 29-28 loser to Gateway last week, at 7 p.m. Friday. Both teams seek their first win.

“Nothing went well for us,” CHS Coach Ben Aarestad said of a 47-0 loss to Poinciana last week. “Lake Minneola played Gateway tough and probably should have beat them but had a couple of touchdowns called back. If we play well I’m hoping that we can hang with them.”

Life Christian Academy, which plays at Orangewood Christian at 4 p.m. Friday, lost 55-14 to Seffner Christian.

“In the fourth quarter it was 27-14 and we were driving and could not punch it in,” LCA Coach Mike Bonneville said. “We had three turnovers in the fourth they turned into scores.”

City of Life Academy lost its six-man game against Clearwater Christian, 34-0. The team visits Hillsborough Baptist Friday at 7 p.m.
