The Osceola girls volleyball team began the 2011 regular season with a three-game win over Poinciana. The match counted in both the Orange Belt Conference and new 7A District 6 standings.

 

The Kowgirls varsity will host Liberty on Thursday in another OBC/7A-6 match. The Chargers (1-1) already have an OBC win over St. Cloud this year.

 

In the Florida Christian Conference, Heritage Christian moved to 2-4 with a five-match win over Gainesville The Rock. Megan Lima had 20 kills in the 27-25, 18-25, 25-14, 11-25, 15-11 win.
