DominicanPresident06_071111Osceola County commissioners met Monday with former president of the Dominican Republic, Hipólita Mejía, shown with his wife, Rosa Goméz de Mejía. Mejía held office from 2000 to 2004 under the Dominican Revolutionary Party, and was instrumental in the creation of a social security program for the people of his country.
