Two brothers were shot and killed Tuesday night at a St. Cloud bar after a fight started over an ex-girlfriend, authorities said.

According to St. Cloud police reports, James Kun Jr., 23, of 2464 Pine Chase Circle in St. Cloud, and Joel Kun, 21, of 6446 Apple St., also in St. Cloud, were at Len'z Dug-Out Pub, 4227 13th St, St. Cloud, when they got into a confrontation with the suspect, Jason Deric Clair, 28, of 2002 Oak St. in Kissimmee. The fight was over an ex-girlfriend of one of the brothers that had been seen with Clair, police reports said.

The fight spilled outside where Clair retrieved a 40-caliber Glock from his vehicle and fired 13 rounds at the brothers. James Kun Jr. was killed on scene, Joel Kun was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead this morning.

After Clair ran out of bullets, several patrons apprehended him and held him until police arrived. Clair has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Clair, who does not have a criminal record, told police he did not know the brothers. It is still under investigation as to whether Clair had a concealed weapons permit.

Clair is currently in the Osceola County Jail.
