ALICEA – Margaret Borrero Alicea, 91, Pine Lake Estates, St. Cloud, FL, beloved mother to her three children, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007.  She is preceded in death by husband, Juan Luis and one daughter, Dolores.  Mrs. Alicea devoted her life to her family, her church, and in volunteer service.
Born in Ponce, P.R., she moved to Central Florida in 1981.  Mrs. Alicea was a lady of her strong, Catholic faith.
Survived by:  son, Neal, St. Cloud, Florida; daughters, Genevieve Graham, Grandville, Michigan; Yvette Newman, Nashville, Tennessee; and seven grandchildren.
Private memorial service will be held in November in Celebration of her life with Fr. Fabian Gimeno, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, officiating.

AUTREY – Katharine Autrey died peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, September 23, 2007 surrounded by loving family members.  Born in Autreyville, Georgia on October 22, 1916, the fourth of seven children, Katharine lived for a year in Tarpon Springs before becoming a lifelong resident of Kissimmee in 1924
Katharine graduated from Osceola High School in 1935 and from Florida State College for Women in 1939 majoring in commerce and economics, with a minor in library science.  After working as librarian at Osceola High School for a few years, she headed off to New York City to work for Standard Oil Company.  From there she moved to Austin, Texas to work for the Texas Department of Health.
Returning to Kissimmee in 1949, Katharine went to work for her father at Autrey Motor Company and became personal secretary to Henry O. Partin of the Heart Bar Ranch.  In 1971 she stayed with the Autrey Motor Company when it became Gateway Ford.  Later she was employed by Mid-State Tractor of Kissimmee.
Katharine was a charter member of the Silver Spurs Club when it was formed in 1941.  In 1984 she became office manager for the club, a position maintained until 1998, but she continued to be an active participant and support of the rodeo association.  She received the club’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994 for her significant contribution to the organization through her hard work and dedication.  Katharine was a life long member of and contributor to the First Presbyterian Church of Kissimmee, as well as an active member of the Osceola and Florida Cattlewomen’s Association, the FSU Alumni Association, Florida Sheriff’s Association and Florida Farm Bureau.
Katharine was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel L. and Elizabeth P. Autrey and her sisters, Rebecca Larimer and Elizabeth Autrey.  
She is survived by her sisters, Constance Partin of Kissimmee, Sarah Horner of North Carolina, Jean Powers of Oregon and brother, Daniel L. Autrey, Jr. of North Carolina, as well as a multitude of loving nieces, nephews and cousins in all parts of the country.  
Katharine’s legacy is one of doing for and giving to others.  She was well-known as the one who remembered all the birthdays, visited all the sick, attended all the special events of her family and friends and in the words of so many, she was always there when you needed her.  
A Celebration of Life service for Katharine will be held 10 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church, Kissimmee.  In lieu of any flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of your choice.  Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Funeral Homes and Crematory, Kissimmee, is in charge of arrangements. 407-847-2494

ELEFSIADES – Edward “Eddie” Lee Elefsiades, F.K.A. “Fast Eddie,” 61, passed away Monday, September 3rd at his home in Kissimmee, FL. He was born on March 26, 1946 in North Providence, RI.
Eddie was the son of George and Bertha Lee Jenkins Elefsiades. He moved to the Central Florida area from Walpole, MA in 1990. Eddie was the former owner and operator of the Third Base Pub in Kissimmee. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army.
Eddie leaves behind his wife, Barbara, daughters, Michelle Kelley and Christa Elefsiades, sister, Gloria D’Agastino, brothers, George Elefsiades, Daniel Elefsiades, Thomas Elefsiades, and his two grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Kelley. He was the brother of the late Roland and Donald Elefsiades.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 6th, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Norwood, MA. In lieu of Flowers, a donation can be made in honor of Eddie to either the VFW Post 2452 in Norwood, MA or to the VFW Post 3227 in St. Cloud, FL. He will be dearly missed by all.

GREENIS – Zelda Greenis, 83, passed away on September 23, 2007.  
She is survived by her daughter Susan Vasquez, her son Joseph Freeman, daughter-in-law Debra Freeman and cherished grandchildren Ramona Vasquez and Sean Freeman.  
Susan Vasquez will receive friends at her residence from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, September 28.  Arrangements entrusted to GRISSOM FUNERAL HOME in Kissimmee. 407-847-3131.

LEE – Olga Giraldez, 1919-2007, peacefully passed away at Osceola Regional Medical Center on Monday, September 24 at the age of 88. She was born in Panama City, Panama to Jose and Isabel Giraldez. Olga graduated with an associate degree in education and taught in Central America before moving to Kissimmee, FL in 1959. Here she began a career in nursing with the Osceola Hospital till retirement. Olga cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her passion was her family, her church, her yard and feeding ducks at the Kissimmee lakefront.
She was predeceased by her husband Glendall R. Lee, but her surviving children are Ray Icaza (Kissimmee), Vicky Phillips (Kalispell, MT), Ivonne Szerlich (Denver, CO), Debbie Shipley (Mount Dora); with grandchildren Rocky, Jessica, Chad, Eric, Daniel and Cory, as well as 7 great grandchildren.
Olga has two brothers and one sister still in Panama. She also had the good fortune to spend her golden years with son Ray and lots of family support. Her final year was spent at Osceola Health Care and the family deeply appreciates the effort of all the staff with our MOM!
Visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home, 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee Florida  34741.  Funeral service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Osceola Memory Gardens
