Fun Spot is celebrating its 13th anniversary, but that is a lucky number if you are a fan of the theme park.
Both the Kissimmee and Orlando locations of the popular attraction will be holding parties today (Saturday) with everything from free cookies and prizes to armband specials that let you ride all the rides as much as you want for $13 (regular price is $35).

You can purchase up to six armbands at the special price (limit six). Armband purchases are for Saturday or can be used another day. Armbands can only be purchased between 10 a.m. and noon on the day of the birthday event.
Other birthday events include a free cookie to the first 1,000 guests, prizes between 10 a.m. and noon; live entertainment and the Fun Spot Dancers.
Rides at the Fun Spot locations include Vortex, Chaos, Slick and Road Course go-kart tracks. The tracks vary, but the extreme tracks feature multi-level courses that have drops and a banked bowl.
Thrill rides include the Paratrooper, Screamin Swing, Screamer, Flying Bob’s Bobsleds, Surf’s Up, Bumper Kars, Tilt-a-Whirl and the the high-flying Yo-Yo.
The Orlando park is under expansion and will include the Screamin Eagle and Power Trip Coaster.
There also are rides for small children.
Not included in the arm-band deal is the SkyCoaster in Kissimmee. Billed as the world’s tallest and featured on TV shows specializing in extreme rides, The Sky Coaster soars 300 feet into the sky.
Riders free fall 120 feet down, reaching speeds of up to 85 mph.
Price for the SkyCoaster is $40 for one person, two people can fly together for $70, three for $90.
Fun Spot recently purchased 10 acres of land across the street from its International Drive location, which will triple the size of the theme park.
Along with the Screamin Eagle and full-size Galaxy Spin coaster planned for this summer, the expansion will include a party spot building.
