GHS wrestlers

Gateway High wrestlers Alex Velez and Christian Vazquez have qualified for USA Wrestling national tournaments at Daytona Beach and Fargo, N. D. this summer.

Hershey track

The annual Hershey Track meet is today at the Gateway High track.

Registration is from 5 to 5:45 p.m. The meet begins at 6 p.m.

Children ages 9-14 are eligible. There is no charge. The winner in each event advances to the state meet. For more information, call 407-518-2504.

Youth basketball

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for the Summer Youth Basketball League.

Practices begin June 6. The season runs from June 25 through Aug. 13. Games are played Saturdays at the Denn John Middle School gym.

The fee is $70 and includes a jersey.

Register in person at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex at 2500 Fortune Road weekdays from noon to 5:30 p.m.

FACA flag All-Stars

Osceola High School’s Maria Lopez, Harmony High School’s Payton Leffew, Kaylee Horn and Tori Keelean and Gateway’s Kaley White were chosen to play in the first Florida Athletic Coaches Association flag football All-Star game at Ocala Forest High School Saturday. They represented the East squad.
