There are eight zillion businesses in Osceola County, give or take a couple of zillion.

And now, at long last, you can choose your favorites.

Yes, more gratifying than the Golden Globe, more honorable than the Heisman and even more titiillating than the Tony, it is the Best of Osceola.

Yes, the Best of Osceola, where the best doesn’t only mean your favorite pet groomer or place to get chicken wings, but it also is where you can vote for your favorite teacher, coach, principal and even police officer.

You can vote for your favorite Osceola happy hour as well as the place you got that tattoo the same night.

So you loved that dinner out last week? You can vote for your favorite chef, as well as the restaurant.

And we are not just talking pizza either. Best of Osceola food categories include everything from favorite place to get a smoothie to favorite bakery, sub shop, ice cream, home cooking and more.

Vote for your dance studio and where you got your dance shoes.

You get the picture?

And speaking of pictures, you can vote for your favorite photographer, and photo studio too.

So don’t get caught flat (favorite tire center, auto repair).

(Don’t) strike out (favorite bowling alley).

(Don’t) be a drip (favorite spa).

And (don’t) get sued (favorite attorney).

Just open wide and say ahhhh...(favorite family physician) and go online to www.aroundosceola.com and click the Best of Osceola button. (It is big, it is blue and to your left at the website).

If you don't have access to a computer, you can also find the Best of Osceola in the printed version of some editions of the Osceola News-Gazette. You can mail it to our 108 Church Street address, or if you don't like to lick stamps you can also just drop it by the office.

The lucky winners, those who truly are the best in Osceola County, will be revealed July 16.

And just like in Chicago, you can vote early and vote often. But remember, you can’t just vote for your favorite florist twenty times and not anybody else. Vote for all of your favorites please.
