On April 29, Linda R. Williams of Imagine Kissimmee Charter Academy was selected as the Imagine State of Florida Teacher of the Year. 

Rod Sasse, the executive vice president for the Florida Region, chose Williams at a celebratory luncheon to continue on to compete for the National Teacher of the Year.
Williams credits her success to her supportive parents, her mentor Stephania Sherman and her Imagine family. She believes that without the support of her Imagine family, her Principal Lori McCarley, parents and students, who truly make it a joy to come to work, she would not be the teacher she is today.
Williams will attend the Imagine Schools National Forum for National Teacher of the Year on July 11th  in Phoenix, Ariz.
