OHS water polo fundraiser

The Osceola High water polo team will hold a fundraiser Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Fantasy Surf on Poinciana Boulevard.

Fantasy Surf is offering a discounted $20 rate. Those wishing to sponsor the event may contact Coach Trish Abell at abellp22@gmail.com.


FACA softball stars

St. Cloud High pitcher Samantha Gale was honored as the Florida Athletic Coaches Association’s Class 4A District 10 softball player of the year Monday, and Osceola third baseman Alexa Ballard was the Class 5A player of the year.

St. Cloud Coach Mike Gale was the Class 4A Coach of the Year. Osceola’s George Coffey is the Class 5A Coach of the Year in District 10.

Osceola visits St. Cloud for a game today at 7 p.m.

Harmony physicals

Harmony High will hold its annual Physical Day Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the gym. The fee is $10. For more information, call 407-933-9900 or send an email to trainer Craig Carnell at carnellc@osceola.k12.fl.us.

KSA swimming

The Kissimmee Swimming Association is accepting new swimmers.

Swimmers must be at least age 5 who can swim freestyle and backstroke. KSA also is accepting swimmers age 18 or older for its masters program.

St. Cloud physicals

St. Cloud High will hold its Physical Day April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the gym.

The fee is $15. Pop Warner athletes are welcome to attend. For more information, email Athletic Director Chad Ansbaugh at ansbaugc@osceola.k12.fl.us.

SCHS Hall of Fame

St. Cloud High School is hosting its annual Hall of Fame Dinner May 6 at 7 p.m. at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. Price is $25 per person. This year's inductees are Lucy King, Doug Partin and Johnny Crowe.

Athletic Director Chad Ansbaugh is currently collecting memorabilia for display. The Hall of Fame golf tournament also will be at Royal St. Cloud May 7 at 8 a.m. Cost is $65 per player.

SC Aquatic Team

The St. Cloud Aquatic Team, a U.S.  Swimming affiliate, welcomes swimmers ages 5 and over who have experience swimming the length of the pool with a crawl stroke.
