Handyman celebrates 25 years

Handyman Hardware celebrated its 25th anniversary on Saturday, March 12.
Winners of the $100 gift certificates were William Payne and Helena Charles. The $50 gift certificate was won by Philip Llanos. Magdelyn Irving won a $50 savings bond from RBC Bank by guessing the total number of fasteners in the jar.
Many customers viewed vendor presentations from Hillman Fasteners, Snow Cap Rust Remover, Gorilla Glue and Porter Paints and enjoyed hotdogs, sodas, anniversary cake, gifts, door prizes and balloons. The kids enjoyed a bounce house from Bounce Around Inflatables and Yo-Yo balls from Peter Schmidt, while the adults enjoyed viewing a 2011 Ford truck from Poffenbaugh Ford that was on display.
Doris and Bill Heuser thanked all their friends and customers for making the anniversary a special day and for their support during the last 25 years.
The $1,000 shopping giveaway drawing will be in June. Everyone is encouraged to stop and register for this drawing.
