Osceola High's new boys basketball coach is Nathan Alexander, an assistant under former Coach Steve Mason.

Kowboys Athletic Director Jim Bird said Alexander brings enthusiasm to the job.

"He came in and had a great interview. He understands what is involved and he's ready to get to work," Bird said.

Mason stepped down earlier this month after two seasons to spend more time with his family.
