Two suspects arrested for armed robbery

Two Kissimmee men were arrested on Friday after allegedly robbing a victim at a local convenience store. Yancarlo Santos-Hernandez, 26, of 1050 S. Hoagland Blvd., and Robert Bonilla, 26, of 4741 W. U.S. Highway 192, were charged with armed robbery and grand theft. Flag football district tourney scheduled today

Top-seeded Osceola (9-2-1) plays No. 4 seed Celebration (4-5) at 7:30 p.m. in the semifinals.     News-Gazette Photo/Marc Clery Gateway’s Andre Olmo struck out 11 and pitched a four-hitter in a 4-0 district semifinal win over St. Cloud Wednesday that boosted the Panthers into the regional playoffs.

    By Rick Pedone Sports Editor Osceola outlasted Gateway, 7-6, for the 7A-5 district baseball championship Friday at Osceola Stadium. The Kowboys, 22-3, host Ridge Community (16-13) Thursday at 7 p.m. in the 7A-2 regional quarterfinal. Gateway, 18-9, will travel to 7A-6 district champion Haines City (21-5) Thursday. Andre Olmo pitched Gateway into the championship game with a 4-0, four-hit shutout against host St. Cloud Wednesday at the  district tournament semifinals.
