Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery today at the Fifth Third Bank, 9020 W. U.S. Highway 192, Kissimmee.

At about 11:30 a.m., Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the bank where they spoke with a bank employee who told them an unknown man entered the bank, approached the bank teller and demanded money at gunpoint. The suspect left the area with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

The suspect was described as a heavy set, black male in his mid to late 30s, approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark blue business suit, button down shirt, burgundy baseball hat, sunglasses and a black mask or T-shirt covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
