Storm golf tourney

The Celebration High School football program will host the inaugural Storm Golf Tournament April 30 at Celebration Golf Club at 8 a.m. Proceeds will be used to purchase needed equipment.

The four-man, shotgun-start event is $150 per player and includes a pairings party with dinner April 29, all fees, lunch, a pro shop coupon and a free wedge. Hole and event sponsors, as well as sponsorships for the 2011 football season, are also available.

Falcon’s Fire golf

Falcon’s Fire Golf Club is offering its “Hat’s Off” promotion through March 31.

Golfers wearing their favorite team’s baseball hat will receive a special rate of $99 for greens fees between 7 and 8 a.m.

KSA swimming

The Kissimmee Swimming Association is accepting new swimmers.

SC Aquatic Team

The St. Cloud Aquatic Team, a U.S.  Swimming affiliate, welcomes swimmers ages 5-and-over who have experience swimming the length of the pool with a crawl stroke.

All swimmers will participate in a training program focused on technique, endurance and speed. If you are a new, experienced or high school student who wants to enhance your swimming skills and participate in a competitive swimming program then SCAT is the program for you.

Attack wrestling

The Attack Wrestling Club meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Osceola High gym.

SC wrestling

The Soldier City Wrestling Club for children ages 6-18 meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud High gym.

The fee is $60, which includes a USA Wrestling card, insurance, T-shirt and shorts.

The club concludes its season June 30.

Poinciana Hoops

Poinciana Hoops is accepting registration for its recreational program which plays Saturdays at Poinciana High School.

Children ages 3-19 are eligible.

Volunteer coaches are needed.

Astros wrap up

The Houston Astros will play their final Grapefruit League games of the year at Osceola County Stadium today (Washington) and Sunday (Detroit).

Both games begin at 1:05 p.m.
