Arrington

Some Osceola County registered voters this week will receive a postcard-sized notice in their mailboxes as part of a program to update voter lists. Supervisor of Elections Mary Jane Arrington is sending out 58,972 address confirmation request cards to all the registered voters who have not voted or have had no voting activity in the past two years in Osceola County. The cards are part of the office’s list maintenance program.
“We need everyone to check the card and make sure the residence address and the mailing addresses are correct,” Arrington said.
If you receive a notice, complete the card and return it to the Elections Office, even if there are no changes. This will update your record and keep you as an active registered voter.
The voter also can use the card to update his or her name if it has changed so it will be current and correct in the voter registration file. The card also can be used to update a voter’s information if he or she has moved out of Osceola County, Arrington said.
A voter who has moved or needs to change his or her name also can either call the Elections Office at 407-742-6000 or e-mail the office at soe@voteosceola.com.
For more information, call the Elections Office at 407-742-6000.
