Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies Sunday arrested Peter Christian Jebb, 56, of 912 S. Park Court, Kissimmee, and charged him with two counts of armed robbery, felony fleeing and eluding, battery on a law enforcement officer, armed aggravated assault and resisting with violence.

The investigation began March 13 at about 6 p.m. when deputies responded to the Mobil station at 2725 N. John Young Parkway in Kissimmee. When deputies arrived, they spoke with the store employee, who reported that a man entered the gas station armed with a screwdriver and demanded money. He fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money, driving a white Subaru.

Deputies in the area located the vehicle traveling east on Carroll Street and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver sped away. Deputies followed the vehicle down several streets and through downtown Kissimmee before the driver crashed into a lightpole at the corner of Emmett and Alaska avenues. The suspect, who was later identified as Jebb, resisted but was taken into custody.

Detectives were able to determine he also was responsible for an armed robbery that took place at about 4:40 p.m. the same day at the CVS Pharmacy at 6058 W. U.S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee. During that armed robbery, Jebb approached the employee with a knife and demanded money and cigarettes. A customer walked in and Jebb reportedly grabbed cigarettes and left the store.

Jebb was also charged with a robbery in the Kissimmee Police Department’s jurisdiction that occurred March 4 at the Kangaroo Stop at 3302 W. Columbia Drive.

Jebb was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
