City of St. Cloud Public Services Administrator Todd Swingle informed City Manager Tom Hurt and his Public Services staff on Feb. 22 of his departure from the city effective March 22.

An interim public services administrator will be named prior to Swingle's departure, city spokeswoman Sandra Ramirez stated in a press release today.

“My family and I have decided to move on to new ventures out of state,” Swingle said. “It has been a great experience and opportunity to work with some of the most professional employees in Central Florida. I am grateful to the city for the opportunities that were afforded to me and I will miss working with our employees and serving St. Cloud’s residents and utilities customers.”

Swingle has worked for the city since March 2003. He began working as a city engineer, was promoted to Environmental Utilities director in October 2006, and was then promoted to Public Services administrator in October 2009.
