Heritage Christian (24-5) saved its best game of the season for Thursday’s Florida Christian Conference semifinal round and the result was a stunning 82-42 win over West Melbourne at the Eagles gym.

Maynard Rowe (33), Josh Newman (22) and Preston Bass (13) led as the Eagles jumped to a 27-2 lead in the first quarter.

“In 16 years of coaching I’ve never had a team come out that focused and prepared,” Heritage Coach Jim Estrella said.

Heritage Christian will play Grace Christian today at 2:30 p.m. for the FCC title at Clearwater Christian College.
