Kissimmee police detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects who sprayed an unknown chemical in a yogurt shop Friday, sending one customer to the hospital.

According to police reports, officers arrived at Menchie’s Yogurt, 2617 W. Osceola Parkway, to investigate a suspicious incident. Upon arrival, officers met with the shift manager, Chelsea Max Meltcher, who reported that when she went to the front of the store, she noticed a strange, strong smell that made her cough. Meltcher then observed that almost all of the customers were coughing. One of the customers fainted due to the smell, while another was transported to a local hospital due to the effects of the chemical, reports stated. Meltcher then evacuated the store. Neither customer suffered serious injuries.

Upon viewing the surveillance video, officers observed three Hispanic females dressed in black and one Hispanic male dressed in a blue flannel long-sleeved jacket standing by the yogurt machines. One female used her hands and fingers to gesture a spraying like motion and began to laugh, reports stated. Another female sprayed an unknown chemical on the floor near the register counter. The male then sprayed an unknown chemical near the yogurt machines. The video shows customers immediately began coughing. The video shows one customer fall at the counter and the suspects laughing.
