The 126th Silver Spurs Rodeo of Champions will be bucking into action Feb. 18-20 at the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee.

Hundreds of top rodeo professionals are gearing up for all of the traditional rodeo events; action will get under way on Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

There will be events such as bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding and barrel racing along with crowd-pleasing cowboy clowns.

Seats are still available for all three rodeo events, ticket prices are $15 per person, children 10 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Get tickets in advance by calling 407-67RODEO or log onto www.silverspursrodeo.com.

Kicking off the rodeo week celebration will be the 51st Little Miss and Miss Silver Spurs Pageant. A long-standing historic event for Osceola County, 22 young ladies will vie for the titles on Monday, Feb. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Silver Spurs Arena.

During Friday night’s performance, the Silver Spurs will support the PRCA’s (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association) Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign and a portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Florida Hospital Cancer Services in Osceola County.

Also, a hair cutting will take place throughout the entire rodeo weekend. Sponsored by Double J Salon & Spa, rodeo fans wishing to donate their long locks to children with hair loss can do so at the rodeo. A salon and stylists will be on hand to cut the 8 inches required to donate to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, and properly give a new hair style as well.

Rodeo fans can enjoy some exciting rides for themselves after the rodeo at the annual Osceola County Fair, located right next door to the Silver Spurs Rodeo.
