The Association of Poinciana Villages has announced that the Poinciana Pioneer is going twice monthly.

Association officials said residents of Poinciana should look for the publication in their mailboxes on the first and 15th of the month. March 15 marks the first time the newly expanded publication will reach households.

“Continuing to partner with the Osceola News-Gazette allows us to make this significant leap while providing yet another communication tool for our community” Jeanette Cough-enour, association manager, said. “We are excited to bring to the Poinciana community this expanded publication both from an editorial and business opportunity.”

Coughenour also said some additional editorial content will include some sports coverage for local schools, additional columnists and expanded school news.

“Advertisers will have the luxury of more timely opportunities to get their message out and will be offered a 15 percent discount on the additional edition with no rate increase,” Coughenour said.
