Kissimmee LL

The Kissimmee Little League will hold registration for the spring season Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Oak Street baseball complex (1500 Oak St., Kissimmee).

A registration also will take place at the Denn John softball complex (2204 Denn John Lane, Kissimmee) Saturday.

Three proofs of residency and a copy of the player's birth certificate will be required for registration (this is also a requirement for returning players). In order to register, players must be 4-18 years old as of April 30, 2011.

The registration fee is $85, $40 for a second child and $20 for three or more.

Anyone who has already registered their child but has not provided all proper records should either send these required documents to or deliver them them in person to registration Friday or Saturday.

Tryouts will be held for the Major division  Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Oak Street complex or Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Denn John complex.

Players who are league age (10-12) and have not yet played for a Majors team are required to attend the tryout if the player did not attend the tryouts on Jan. 15.

Players who are league age 9 also need to attend this tryout unless a special request is made in writing from the player's parent stating that they would like for their child to stay in the minors division.

Anyone who is interested in being a coach or volunteer for the 2011 spring season, please have a completed volunteer form sent to dflores618@gmail.com and contact Monica Arango by e-mail at marango@cfl.rr.com for further information.
