Incubator in Kissimmee to host seminars for small businesses

The University of Central Florida Business Incubator in Kissimmee will host two seminars for small business owners in January and February conducted and sponsored by the Ken Shipley Osceola Small Business Development Center.

Rafael Caamano, site manager at the incubator, said that all small business owners and their representatives are welcome to attend both seminars.

On Friday, Jan. 28, the incubator will host a seminar on tax tips for business owners from 9 to 11 a.m. This seminar is free and will cover 2010 tax returns and provide an update on new tax laws and regulations that affect small businesses.

From 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Feb. 16, the incubator will host a program on marketing and selling strategies for business.  Cost of admission is $25 and space is limited. This seminar is focused on the big picture objectives of a business, helping business owners to work on their business and not just in it, Caamano stated in a press release.

Both seminars will be at the UCF Business Incubator in Kissimmee, located on the fourth floor at the Kissimmee City Centre, 111 E. Monument Ave. To register for either seminar, call 407-847-2452.
