SC lifters win
The St. Cloud Lady Bulldogs (45) weightlifting team remained unbeaten after defeating Gateway (29) and Osceola (28) last week.
St. Cloud's Illeana Bonilla (101 weight class, 195 total lift), Annie Barberi (110, 245), Olivia Falkner (119, 225),  Sabrina Lineburg (139, 240), Mallory Armstrong (154, 235) and Aixa Machnuck (183, 240) all won.
Osceola's Zanquina Ellison (129, 350), Cyndee Williams (199, 210) and Jasmine Saunders (unlimited, 200) won as well as Gateway's Charnelle Michel (169, 195).
The teams participated at the sub-sectional Wednesday at Harmony. St. Cloud hosts the Orange Belt Conference meet Feb. 2.
Suns play today
The No. 8 Florida Christian College men’s basketball team won the 23rd Annual Piedmont Baptist College Classic last week.
A.J. Williams took home the Most Valuable Player Award, while Sam Stephens was selected to the all-tournament team.
The Suns (9-6) will host Trinity Baptist today and Pensacola Christian Tuesday. Games begin at 7 p.m.
