McDUFFIE – David A. McDuffie, 38, died on Monday, December 31st from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on December 26th in Lake County, FL. David was a life-long Florida resident and attended school in Kissimmee. He was preceded in death by his father, Charvis D. McDuffie.
He is survived by his mother, Michele Colegrove, grandmother June Stefan, and great-aunt Roberta Engelmann all of Kissimmee. Brother Steven McDuffie, sister-in-law Leah McDuffie and niece Ashley McDuffie all of Pueblo, CO. Aunt Carole Shelton of Littleton, CO, grandfather William Baczuk of Vero Beach, FL, uncle Ashley McDuffie of Franklin, NC, aunt Roselyn Scott of Orlando, FL and many cousins and friends who love him. He will be missed. In keeping with David's wishes, there will be no funeral service.

PARTIN – Rex Allen Partin, 56, long time resident of Kissimmee, passed away December 14, 2007 in Buffalo, New York as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident on his way to Niagara Falls.  Rex was born in Henderson, North Carolina on January 27, 1951 and moved to Kissimmee with his family in 1955.  He graduated from Osceola High School in 1969 and worked for Johnston’s Engineers for several years after graduation. 
He is survived by his mother, Becky Partin of Kissimmee and a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Steve Parker, also of Kissimmee.  His father, Furman Partin, preceded him in death in 1974. 
Rex will be remembered for his love of life and his ever present smile.  A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2008 in Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice Foundation of West New York, 225 Como Park Blvd., P.O. Box 590, Cheektowaga, NY 14227-1480.

ROPER – Elaine Judith Roper, 69, of St. Cloud, Florida passed away January 8, 2008.  She was born August 18, 1937 in Old Town, Maine.  
Elaine is survived by her husband of 52 years Gary Roper, daughter Theresa Tassinari, son Paul Manning Roper, brothers Paul and Joel Ranco, sister, Anna Denton, and 5 grandchildren Rhiannon, Tony, Christopher, Kayla, and Noah.
