Softball standings

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department announces the 2010 fall softball final league and tournament champions:

Sunday Co-Ed Recreational League:  La Familia (league champion);    Rainmakers (tournament champion).

Sunday Co-ed Church League Tournament: Jehovah’s Heart (League and tournament champion).

Monday Florida Hospital League: Bone Crushers (league champion; Punishers (tournament champion).

Tuesday Mens Recreational, Red Division: Pinch a Penny (league and tournament champion).

Tuesday Mens Recreational, White Division:  All Star Kissimmee (league and tournament champion).

Tuesday Men’s Recreational, Blue Division: Rental World (league champion); Aguilas (tournament champion).

Wednesday Co-Ed Recreational: Storm (league and tournament champion).

Wednesday Co-Ed: Crabby Bills (league champion); Lightning (tournament champion).

Thursday Women’s League: Nemesis (league and tournament champion).

Thursday Mens Competitive: Demo Men (league and tournament champion).

Friday Mens Modified:  Dominicana (league and tournament champion).

Friday Mens Church, Red Division: First Baptist Church Kissimmee (league and tournament champion).

Friday Men’s Church League, Blue Division: First Christian Church (league and tournament champion).

SC Little League

St. Cloud Little League will hold registration from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 8, Jan. 15 and Jan. 22 at the concession stand.

Tryouts for competitive divisions are Jan. 15 and Jan. 22.

Rec basketball

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is holding registration for the Kissimmee Youth Basketball League through Wednesday.

The fee is $50, which includes a jersey. After Jan. 5, the fee is $60 (if space is available). Practices begin Jan. 10.  The season is from Jan. 22 to Feb. 26.

Practice will be at Denn John Middle School Gym, with games played on Saturdays at the Kissimmee Civic Center.

Teams are based on age: pee wee (age 7-8); midget (age 9-11); junior (age 12-14) and senior ( age 15-17).

Registration is accepted weekdays from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex or by registering online at www.kissimmeeparks.org. Call 407-518-2504 for more information.

Volunteer coaches (must be adults) are needed. Call Emily Salzman (407-518-2346) for information.
