Kissimmee Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division served two search warrants Tuesday on suspected drug houses.

The Kissimmee Police Department received tips that two homes within the city had unusual traffic and were possibly selling drugs from their locations. Based on the Specialized Investigations Unit and the Tactical Investigative Units’ investigations, warrants were obtained for the residence at 681 Captiva Circle and 4011 Venetian Bay Drive, Apt. 108.

On Dec. 21, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division served the search warrants without incident. The following items were seized from the Captiva Circle location: 147 Seroqual pills, 91 Zoloft pills, 103 Hydroxyzine pills, 46 Geodon pills and a 9mm Glock firearm.

Kevin Padilla, 20, was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance and Marcos Padilla, 25, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for sale and delivery of cannabis and delivery of drug paraphernalia.  Both were transported to the Osceola County Jail held on $10,000 and $3,500 bond, respectfully.

From the Venetian Bay Drive location, detectives seized 1,426 grams of high-grade marijuana holding a street value of $20,000, 39.9 grams of powder cocaine holding a street value of $10,000, three digital scales, a ledger and a 9mm Beretta handgun. Amy Alers, 28, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Alers was transported to Osceola County Jail and is being held on a $15,500 bond.

There is an outstanding warrant for Junior Abraham Torres Figueroa, 24, for possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

“The credit for these arrests and drug seizures goes to our citizens,” Chief Fran Iwanski said. “The city of Kissimmee citizens have embraced the police department’s See It Say It campaign and continue to contact us to report suspicious activity within their neighborhoods. Without their help these drug dealers might still be in business.”
