SC Little League

St. Cloud Cloud Little League will hold registration today from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the concession stand for baseball, softball and challenger divisions.

Registration also is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 8, Jan. 15 and Jan. 22.

Tryouts for competitive divisions are Jan. 15 and Jan. 22.

Rec basketball

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is holding registration for the Kissimmee Youth Basketball League through Jan. 5.

The fee is $50, which includes a jersey. After Jan. 5, the fee is $60 (if space is available).

Practices begin Jan. 10.  The season is from Jan. 22 to Feb. 26.  Practice will be held one night a week at Denn John Middle School Gym, with games played on Saturdays at the Kissimmee Civic Center.

Teams are based on age: pee wee (age 7-8); midget (age 9-11); junior (age 12-14) and senior ( age 15-17).

Registration is accepted weekdays from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex or by registering online at www.kissimmeeparks.org or by faxing the form to 407-847-8224.

Osc. Youth Softball

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for the 2011 spring softball season.

Returning teams can begin registration Jan. 3. Registration for all other teams will begin Jan.10.

The registration deadline for all teams is Jan. 21.

Leagues for men, women and co-ed leagues are offered.  

Fees range from $275 to $400 per team.

Registration is accepted Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 6 p.m. or Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex, located at 2500 Fortune Road, Kissimmee. For more information, contact the Athletic Division at 407-518-2504.
