Kissimmee police were looking for suspects in a homicide case at press time Friday, after a city resident was shot and killed in the north McClaren Circle area.
At about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Kissimmee police officers responded to the area of Tarpon and Brack streets in reference to shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found that Antwan Devontay Martin, 18, of Kissimmee, had been shot. He later died from his injuries, Kissimmee police reports said. No one else was injured.
Police, at press time Friday, did not have any suspects in custody, but were looking for a white two-door pickup truck with a different color molding on the bottom section. The make and model of the truck was unknown.
Anyone with information on any suspects or the truck is asked to contact the Kissimmee Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit at 407-846-3333 by e-mail at seeitsayit@kissimmee.org or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS(8477). Calls made to Crimeline will remain anonymous. Tips to Crimeline that lead to the felony arrest of any suspects are eligible for cash rewards of up to $5,000 in this case.
