Four males, including two juveniles, were arrested and charged with strong-armed robbery Thursday after they took personal items from two victims.

Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested Alex Noel Velez, 26, of 1083 Dudley Drive, Kissimmee, and Poinciana residents Judah Shadrach Peters, 19, 872 Jarnac Drive, Shakur Daqwain Smith, 17, of 918 Picardy Drive, and Mylam Yaheiya, 17, of 872 Jarnac Drive.

The investigation began on Dec. 5 at approximately 7:41 p.m., when deputies took a report near Monterey Road and Barrington Drive in Poinciana. The male victims told deputies they were walking in the neighborhood when they noticed a white Toyota Camry drive by and then return. The driver turned the headlights off and three of the suspects exited the vehicle and began walking toward the victims. A physical altercation occurred but no one was injured. The four suspects took the victims’ personal items and fled in the vehicle.

Information detectives received led to the suspects and the recovery of the stolen property. All four suspects were charged with strong-armed robbery, robbery with a mask/hood, battery and petit theft. and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
