The Harmony girls placed 10th and St. Cloud was 14th at the Class 3A girls state cross country meet Saturday at Dade City, while the St. Cloud boys were 17th.

Individually, Celebration’s Quincy O’Conner was 14th (16:07) in the boys 3A meet, Harmony’s Matt Henning was 20th (16:13) and Liberty’s Robbie Johnroe was 152nd (18:33).

Harmony’s girls met Coach Debra Schweiger’s goal of placing among the top 10 at the state meet.

The senior-laden team was led by Sam Travis (38th, 20:18) followed by Kylie Koral (43rd, 20:33), Chelsea Connor (61st, 20:57), Brittany Connor (66th, 20:59), Kristle Ward (22:18), Brianna Stacey (147th, 23:22) and Liane Montalvo (160th, 25:20).

For St. Cloud, Ashlyn Stadtlander (37th, 20:18) led the way followed by Katelyn Stadtlander (51st, 20:42), Anaya Reid (57th, 20:52), Rebecca Davis (80th, 21:23), Taylor Wassum (124th, 22:23) and Berenise Vega (157th, 24:42).

For St. Cloud’s boys, Matt Cole (36th, 16:48) led followed by Bailey Morgan (37th, 16:49), Antonio Montalvo (92nd, 17:42), Carlos Perez (105th, 17:55), Eric Ratliff (151st. 19:10) and Ralphy Hernandez (157th, 19:42).

Tallahassee Chiles (59) won the Class 3A girls championship; Belen Jesuit (50) won the boys crown.
