Constitutional guarantee

To the editor:
The Constitution provides Americans with many rights and protections from government tyranny that are not articulated verbatim in the document.

The right to privacy comes to mind and there are many other examples including the concept that protects us from a government-sponsored religion.
Since some true believers would like to turn America into a theocracy like Iran where some moronic religion is the law of the land and there is no freedom, I say thank goodness for the constitutional guarantee that church and state be separate.
