A Kissimmee man was arrested and charged with sexual battery on a victim under 12 with injury Friday after he allegedly attacked a 10-year-old boy.

Arrested was 20-year-old Angel Alamo.

According to police reports, officers met with the victim’s mother, who stated she dropped off her 10-year-old son at a relative’s house while she went to visit another family member. A little while later, the victim called to his mother crying, telling her to come pick him up. When the victim’s mother arrived, the victim told his mother that Alamo sexually battered him.

During the investigation, detectives found evidence to support the victim’s claim that it was a violent attack, police reports said. Detectives additionally charged Alamo with lewd or lascivious molestation and false imprisonment with a sexual battery. Alamo was transported to the Osceola County Jail, where he was being held without bond.
