Former high school band director arrested, accused of sex with students

By Ken Jackson Staff Writer The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested the former band director at Poinciana High School Tuesday after authorities said he had inappropriate sexual relations with at least two high school students.

  • Suspect arrested for 10 counts of child pornography

    A Kissimmee man was arrested on child pornography charges on Tuesday after an investigation was conducted by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Chauncey Guy Sharrow, 46, of 1158 Stroupe Road, Kissimmee, and charged him with 10 counts of promoting photo/movie sexual performance of a child. The investigation began in late August, when detectives identified a computer with an IP address that was linked to child pornography.
