Liberty High School must forfeit three football victories and pay an $800 fine for playing an ineligible student athlete, the Florida High School Athletic Association ruled Monday.

The Chargers football program will be on administrative probation for the remainder of the current school year. The school self-reported the violation three weeks ago. The player participated in eight games, three of them victories. The Chargers football record officially drops from 5-5 to 2-8.

Earlier this month, St. Cloud forfeited two victories for using an ineligible player and was fined $200. It also is on administrative probation for the balance of the year.
