The Association of Poinciana Villages and the Digital Villages team have partnered to form a community-based, technology-driven website.
The site is www.poincianadv.com.

Digital Village allows users to be informed of the latest Poinciana happenings. Featuring a live feed and space for paid advertising, this is another way of promoting business and keeping current . There is also the ability to customize your own page so that information important to you is accessible. Take a few minutes to check it out.

We all know that after Thanksgiving, Christmas comes around very quickly. Though it is somber to think about, the reality is many families in Poinciana will not have the necessary funds to make the holiday special for their children. Enter Santa’s Helping Hands.
This long-established organization tries to see that every Poinciana child has a memorable Christmas. Members collect toys and funds from different Poinciana establishments, then wrap and deliver to needy Poinciana children. This year, however, may be a challenge.
Imagine being a child and waking up on Christmas morning having no gifts, or a mother with no Christmas dinner to prepare.  Santa’s Helping Hands tries to be there to help some of these families.
Look for donation areas at Pioneer Remix, Prominent Title in the Publix shopping plaza, Regions Bank, Quiznos and Walgreens. Any donations that you are able to give in these difficult financial times are welcome and appreciated. If you would like to be a part of Santa’s Helping Hands and be a difference in the life of a Poinciana child, e-mail Bob Tremble at santa

It’s time to register your float or marching group in the annual Poinciana Christmas parade Dec. 11. Last year’s parade route was so successful and appreciated by both participants and onlookers that the parade route will be kept the same. The route is all of Cypress parkway, beginning and ending at Regions Bank.
The parade begins at 11 a.m., with participants lining up by 10 a.m. If entering a float or walking group, call 863-427-0900, or stop by the APV office no later than Nov. 24.
