Kissimmee police arrested 19-year-old Damion T. Kinloch, of Kissimmee, Oct. 28 for attempted felony murder and discharging a firearm within 1,000 feet of people.
On Sept. 20 at approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to 1116 Robinson St. in Kissimmee in reference to a shooting incident. Officers met with the 38-year-old victim who stated while he was standing outside of 1108 Robinson St., Kinloch drove by in a black two-door Saturn and fired two shots at him. The victim was not injured during the altercation.
During the investigation, the victim and several other witnesses were able to positively identify Kinloch as the shooter. On Oct. 1, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Kinloch. On Oct. 28, Kinloch contacted detectives and turned himself in at the Kissimmee Police Department.
Kinloch cooperated with detectives and was taken to the Osceola County Jail, where he was being held without bond.
