Sanchez

Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested Victor Sanchez Jr., 33, of 301 W. Carroll St., Kissimmee, a registered felon, on eight counts of lewd and lascivious battery and one count of child abuse.

The investigation began Oct. 27 when deputies took a report of sexual battery. Deputies spoke with the complainant who indicated she found notes written by her daughter of inappropriate activity with Sanchez, the mother's former boyfriend.

When deputies spoke with the 16-year-old victim, she told them that last year when she was 15 years old, Sanchez gave her a pill because her arm was hurting. She said the pill made her sleepy and when she awoke, Sanchez was touching her inappropriately. The victim also told deputies about seven other sexual encounters with Sanchez.

Deputies brought Sanchez in for questioning and he cooperated with the investigation. Based on the information, Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond.
