Appreciated support

To the editor:

We would like to thank the St. Cloud community for its unprecedented support of the national “Make a Difference Day.”

Through their donations, our students collected hundreds of dollars as well as a truckload of non-perishable items for the St. Cloud Food Pantry over the past two Saturday’s. It was refreshing to see how our residents responded to the needs of the food pantry even in these tough financial times. In addition, it was fun to watch the students from both Harmony High and St. Cloud High work together toward a common goal.

We would also like to thank Winn Dixie and the Publix on the Narcoosee Road  for allowing our students to collect donations.
