Osceola County Sheriff’s Office detectives Oct. 21 charged Jimmie Don Johnson, 64, of Krum, Texas, with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.

Johnson was picked up by Denton County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office deputies. The investigation began Oct. 13 when Osceola County deputies took a report from a 10-year-old female victim who had told her parents about several encounters she had with Johnson over the last five years.

The victim also told deputies the first incident occurred when she was 5 years old and Johnson made her touch him inappropriately. The next incident happened last year at her residence when Johnson was visiting the family. Based on the victim’s statement, Johnson was arrested and booked into the Denton County Sheriff’s Office with no bond.
