A Kissimmee man was arrested on numerous counts of possessing child pornograpghy after illegal images were found on a home computer.

James Frank Wood Jr., 56, was charged with 26 counts of possession of child pornography after an investigation began in late September when deputies received information Wood might have stored child pornography on a computer in his home.

On Oct. 11, detectives obtained a search warrant for his residence at 2503 Kingston Court, Kissimmee. They located a computer in the master bedroom that contained numerous photos of nudes. Detectives confirmed 26 of the photos were children under the age of 18. Wood was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond.

The investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending.
