Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives Oct. 6 arrested Jeffrie Evans, 25, of 1716 Tropez Court, Kissimmee, and charged him with 18 counts of lewd and lascivious battery.

The investigation began when deputies made contact with two individuals, a 25-year-old-man, later identified as Evans, and a 15-year-old-girl in a parked car in the parking lot of a business on Narcoossee Road on Oct. 6. Both denied any inappropriate activity.

After further investigation, detectives discovered Evans began having a sexual relationship with the 15-year-old girl and the girl's 15-year-old friend in December of 2009 when they were 14. Both victims told detectives Evans knew they were underage and continued a sexual relationship with both of them for several months. They also told investigators Evans told them to lie and say they were older.

Detectives interviewed Evans and he cooperated with the investigation. Based on the information provided by Evans and the victims, Evans was charged and booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond.
